I grew up believing in the promise of Texas — that hard work, community, and compassion could open doors for everyone in our state. But today, that promise feels out of reach for too many. Under years of Republican leadership, families are being priced out of their neighborhoods, our schools are underfunded, and our democracy feels further from the people it’s meant to serve.

We don’t have to accept a Texas where opportunity is limited to a few. We can build a Tejas where every voice counts, where our kids can thrive, and where we care for one another and the place we call home.
